What is assisted living?

Assisted living combines accommodation services with other supports and care. It meets the needs of a wide range of people, but not those who have highly complex and serious health care needs.  St. Michael’s Health Center offers all of our residents requiring assisted living a place where they are treated with kindness and compassion and an environment in which their dignity is preserved.

• helping residents to maintain their independence
• personalized assistance
• supportive services
• compassionate care
• assistance with day-to-day tasks (bathing, personal hygiene and medication assistance) 

Our goal is to encourage and assist individuals to lead healthy, happy and self-directed lives. To that end, our staff will help set up the services that are right for each individual.  As needs change a simple assessment and review will help us determine if additional assisted living support for special needs can be provided.
