Donate
As a donor to St. Michael’s Foundation, your gift makes a difference and there are many ways to donate. You may choose the level of involvement you would like to have with your gift. You may decide to have your donation used to benefit a particular area, such as Palliative care. Whatever your choice, your contribution will be directed at your request. Alternatively, you may prefer to donate unrestricted funds that allow the Foundation to use your donation where it is most needed at that time.
Your gift is gratefully accepted in many forms, including:
Cash Donations You can make a lump sum donation or space it out over a period of time. In either case, you will receive the same tax receipted donation.
Bequest You may choose to name St. Michael’s Foundation as the recipient of a portion or all of your Estate. If this type of donation appeals to you, it is important that you contact your Attorney about making such a provision in your will.
Memorial You can offer a gift in memory of a family member or friend.
Planned Giving You have the option to make St. Michael’s Foundation a regular part of your annual charitable donations.
Deferred Giving (Life Insurance) You can make St. Michael’s Foundation owner and beneficiary of your Life Insurance Policy. Unlike a bequest, ownership cannot be changed. Not only are tax credits earned immediately, but this gift can turn into a very large charitable contribution at the time of death.
Gifts in Kind Support for the Foundation does not always come in the form of cash. You can also donate physical assets such as artwork, real estate, equipment or other tangible personal property. A tax receipt for the fair market value on the date that the gift is received will be issued.
