PERMANENT PART TIME (.77)
HOURS: Monday-Friday (9:30 am - 4:00 pm)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Some of the job duties include:
- Maintaining effective communication and relations with residents, families, volunteers and staff of other departments.
- Planning and creating meaningful activities for the residents and patients.
- Attending in-service education in order to keep informed of current trends in the total care of the elderly.
- Participating in team meetings to plan programs with residents' interest in mind.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum educational requirements are a diploma or degree in therapeutic recreation/gerontology combined with experience working in the field, preferably with seniors. Recent graduates, with relevant prior working experience, are welcome to apply.
A clear Criminal Record check and a Class 4 Driver's License is required.
